BMAD Festival 2010

Morning everyone,

The BMAD (Bikers Made A Difference) Festival in Paignton is coming up soon, between the 30th April and the 2nd of May.

Just wondered if any of you were thinking of going along for the day/weekend? If you are, would the idea of a DTRF "convoy" sound like a good idea? I'd be quite happy to meet up somewhere along the way.

There's also an opportunity for stands; it could be a good way of letting people know about the Fellowship?

Blimey, how many times do I have to volunteer myself and the bikes? This is at least the third time I've offered for this event and never recieved an answer.

Good Luck...

Hope this is as big and gets at least as much interest and member support as the TRF stand at the Megga Ride Bikers festival on Plymouth Hoe last year!!!

Will not be able to support the Paington parade as I will be away for that week... half term etc etc.....

You need a better pop up shelter this time though disbeliefnodisbelief

Thanks for posting this! If you do come down pop up to the control tent and say hello!

Our web guy's email is chairman@bmad.co.uk if you would like some links posted?.

If you have any events you want to pop on our site, I can put them on our forum, or you are welcome to join the forum and keep us posted.

We do take notice of other groups and base some of our ride outs and (hopefully) weekender visits to show support. We are on a group outing to the new Plymouth group on Thursday next week on their first bike night.

Hi Corky.

Welcome aboard the good ship DTRF, nice to know you've found us.

We are more than happy to be associated with BMAD and thanks very much for sorting us out a pitch at this years event.

Thanks for the offer of a web link, i'm sure our web man, "Hoops", could do something in return.

Anything we can do to help please ask.

Steve

Hi John, Nic, Lorn and I will be on the stand Friday, Saturday and Sunday unless we get a few volunteers to cover a day or part of a day for us.

I'm taking the IT and one other bike to feature on the stand, and Nic has managed to blag a secret weapon for the stand, so there will be interesting bikes there to pull in the crowds.

Anyone who wants to help please stick your name below or contact Nic (slipalong) or me and Lorn to arrange a day/slot.

The three of us will be there early on Friday night to set up and there will be cakes (big ones for Gruff) available to one and all Saturday and Sunday.

Looking forward to seeing you all again, and thanks for the offer of help John, it'll be good to see you again.

Dave.

LOL - I should have given them to your DHL driver who picked up an international parcel from me yesterday morning hmm

Dropped them off at the depot this morning - a very nice young man took them in - he seemed to know you wink

Good luck with the event!
