Just a shot in the dark really but I wondered if anyone had one of these leads for talking to the ECU in VW, Audi & Seat vehicles.

I've got hold of some software and would like to test it out to see how usefull it might be.

The lead looks like this,

In many way's so am I...
If I actually get one of these leads, and proceed to connect it to my van I might be opening a big can of worms.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it! - but I just can't help myself sometimes...

Been keeping an eye half open for something similar but for Renault for similar reasons.

Sorted now. biggrin

Couldn't connect Rob's lead to connect to my laptop so took the plunge and bought an ebay USB one - £8 delivered. Just like the blue one in the picture.

Just got around to connecting it to me van and it talks - success!

Now I need to do some reading to work about what the hell I'm doingdisbeliefconfuse

Hopefully soon I'll have full control over my enginewink
