The reg doc says 1993.
The motor, wheels, swingarm, forks, brakes, and clocks are Triumph
It sports custom mirrors bought since the photo. Dial a ride rear shock. The frame was handmade in Broadhempston Devon, the stainless exhaust in Wales and there are a few other tailormade bits plus Art Attack paint that changes colour as you walk around it.
91Bhp and huge torque means no need to change gear to overtake unless you are on an urgent mission

I'm very intrested in the triumph. And its affordable insurance wise for me aswell, but again I can't offer any money ontop. The gasser has just had a brand new engine rebuild and that's my selling point along with where the value is held at, I can see the triumph has had a lot of money spent on it and is very nice looking. My only offer would for a clean swap, there would be a little work I'd have to do on the gasser, I'd want to sell it with new clutch plates,oils, sort the brake light switches out as it currently has none ( wasn't mentioned in ad as I forgot) . My only offer would be a good,reliable powerfull yet easy to handle freshly rebuilt gasgas ec 250 with plently of mot and tax and brand new tyres and bearings etc. If I had the extra funds, I'd have it asap. But being jobless at the meen time I'm in no position to throw money around I don't have lol. Cheers :)
Lathan I hate selling bikes, all the haggling and the hassle of advertising. The asking price is usually wishful thinking. I have always wanted a gasser having ridden with enough to know what they are like, although it would put rebuilding my CRM on the back burner. Come and see if the Triumph suits you and we'll see, because if you're happy with it I would be delighted not to have to advertise and could be persuaded to swap as I can see the gasser is a beaut. The only drawback to the Triumph is the wide handlebars which make filtering through traffic tricky, it certainly turns heads.
Gas Gas Guy I need to make space in the garage. I spent an annoying while yesterday squeezing past bikes to work on my CRM yesterday and I want room to walk around each bike without having to move another first because it puts me off doing the little maintenance jobs that need keeping on top of. If I do a swap for the Triumph I'm no better off spacewise. The CB400SFVR can go for £1000, no offers. I'll miss it but I've had my moneys worth and I know it won't let you down. I bought it new and I have never regretted it. Wonderfully practical as well as enormous fun for embarrasing larger machinery. A workmate says he'll have it at the end of next month, but he's waiting to hear about redundancy same as me.
MOT on both is due Sept and will be an easy formality to renew before sale.
i will arrange to get a lift up somtime at the beggining of the early week pete,possibly monday evening if thats ok? i will need times and address (pm them details) and as for the handle bars thats not a problem. with the gasgas its a case of when the engine was sent away for rebuild, i had alot of spare time to clean it, its in no way as clean as in the pictures becase after the run in proccess i stripped the top end off and resealed it with gasket sealant for piece of mind. after the hazzlewood day it got a little muddy, and seeing i live withing throwing distance of my local greenlanes im always out trying to improve my riding and its near on impossible to keep shiny all over. i have the speedo all connected up but i havnt managed to find where the magnet goes, possibly gasgas sent me the wrong one, but the speedo never botherd me so havnt got round to it. and like i said the light switches are just the normal banjo bolts, so if you would rather i could get that sorted or whatever you want maybe you would rather do it yourself.The new clutch plates have been ordered and will be fitted monday, and i will give it another clean around the nooks and crannys.
just a thought, maybe it would be better for you to come to exeter and view the gasgas aswell as its not very practical riding with it that distance. and dont have much access to a trailor.
the gasgas i found in the tricky sections of hazzlewood especially would at ease breeze around with no real high revs in 3rd. the hole course could be done in 3rd with out needing to of changed gear. Delvej or jack delve rode it alot with me that day and he can second opinion the bike for your intrest.
Lath I could do you a deal with my modded CBR400/600 NC29 hybred but would require £750 its had all the suspenion and brakes upgradded too with years of setup time and compleatly reliable smooth and totaly bonkers.
