Christ, it's been a while since I've posted here. Last time round was when I had my little Urban DZ125 (hence the name). Didn't do too much laning with it other than a small trip with Dave and Lorn Towers and a larger Dartmoor run with a few more guys way back in October 2009 and April (rings a bell) 2010.
I've been getting through my 33bhp restriction on a Yammy Fazer (sadly written off in April) and now an SV650S. Recently though, the calling of the lanes and dirt has been strong and I've found myself flicking through Ebay and AutoTrader to see if I can find something that'll get me to work, bugger about on the roads but also get me back into the mud.
I was going to wait until my restriction period ends in early July next year but I have a feeling it's going to become too much. Annoyingly, I've been spotting lanes more and more since I've been thinking of them. Chances are then that I'll be looking to switch the SV for something like a DRZ400 around February; that does mean I'll need it restricting for 3 or 4 months unless I choose a twodiddy like the TTR but I reckon it'd be worth it to have something I'm pretty keen on.
I'll be getting back on here a bit more often over the coming future so it'll be good to get back into the swing of things.
