Thats great!!! look out for Mk1 Consul's and Zephyrs tho, they seem to cause more accidents than other cars!

This is the period my old day use ride bikes sidecars were popular as then they were cheaper than cars ? he had a sidecar and crashed it ! with me mum on the back prob thats wye as she wasnt in the unstable side chair opps, broke his leg and was the first person to have metal plates put in his leg by the surgion in Liverpool hosp memorys lol his last bike well that was a triumph Daytona off the then defunct triumph meridon production line no exhausts and bits missing trip to pikes in Exeter sorted all that out worth a fortune now as it cam with a disc front brake ho hum handled better in the snow than my kawasaki 500 triple lol ALL OUR YESTERDAYS miss you dad aww

Curteous, Respectful, Well mannered, thoughtful, helpful, safe and law abiding? People shared the same view of motorcyclists back then as as they do today........................not!!

About the time of my first motorcycling experience... sitting on the tank and holding onto the handlebars of my Grandfather's BSA Goldie!

Somewhere in the black and white motorcycling archive is a film of how to ( and how not to) ride a trials competition motorcycle, made by the AMC ( AJS & Matchless) factory at Plumstead London.... can anyone dig that out and post it up.??
