Hi Charlie

You made it to the end of the run you went out on with me a few weeks back with Gripper, Kwaka Geoff etc and that certainly wasn't a novice friendly run 80 odd lanes over most of the day after handling that you should be able to do most runs posted. Just need to cut down on the badgerswinkbiggrinbiggrin Hope you'll join us again soonsmile

According to russell who i have no doubt to disbelieve you've already moved up and onwards from a novice (if there is such a person/rider) without realizing - thats the power of DTRF you do things without knowing or realizing  winkbiggrin

Enjoy your trail riding and most importantly keep the faith wink

You decicde. When you feel you can handle/tackle the lanes and make ok'ish progress then join any rides.

Some riders will always ride slow and arent the best at the technical stuff - but they go on all rides.

I never joined any 'novice' described rides, I just rode and learnt.

Keep posting and your status will change buddy.

As far as riding ability goes, you have taken on and survived some of Devon's finest (simms, whoohoo, Devils steps) and thats just a few, I don't think you need to call yourself a novice anymore.

Besides, I can make you a pro for £250.00, you will get six free ride outs thrown in & I will buy you a pasty for lunch, lol.
