A SAD LOSS

Hi everybody ive just put the latest TRF mag down in a some what somber mood /reflextive  even yes im reflecting on a subject already covered in depth on a different thread on this forum the sad loss of Gary Greaves .

I was wondering is that is it sorry Gary tought luck mate bum deal unfotunate incident or what ever ? ,everyday i pass little memorals to those that have been lost by the side of our roads ,what i would like to here about is a cross or plauqe to his memory in the place he lost his life ,im awere there are those that say we should not do this it distracts other road users well i call that something else, there has  been a program on the box recently ahem ? but im also led to beleave there was a case that wild flowers were planted in the hedge rows in a sim situation , i for one would donate ten pounds for a few flower bulbs so what im asking could we organise this to happen could the TRF organise this ? im not here for pludits replies or apinions i dont know anyone in that area of England this sad epesode took place in ,but maybe the local TRF could sort something out  for Gary after all he was only

£45 away from being a member and thats the only differance between him and us could we make this happen please .

Had the riders been TRF members it is unlikely they would have been lost on private land and I do not think the landowner, who killed him, would permit a memorial on his land, which does not form part of the public highway, which was why he was chasing the motorcyclists in the first place.

It would appear a good and well loved man lost his life because he rode a few hundred meters onto someone else's land ..... how little Britain can you go? Dead. The end cos someone was worried about temporary access to "their land". Mad.
