Dominator doesn't like heavy rain. The PO did warn me.
Dies at low revs so rode home from Exeter between 6 & 7000 rpm in 2nd and 3rd. Made roundabouts and junctions exciting! Emptied a £7 (!) can of WD40 onto HT cap and electrics, seemed to help.
Have any XR650 owners ever had a problem with their bike in heavy rain? Same engine is why I ask.
Fitted a new coil the other week. Ridden it in the rain with no probs and it doesn't cut out under heavy braking anymore. Changed the silencers so it is quiet now which is a bit boring.

Although at the time of purchase you didn't think that was the problem.
