Apparently its ART

Went out for a little bimble on my own the other day and found a new local landmark apparently it was passed by the council as it is art! shame they don't think  keeping are lanes open are as important as painting dead trees

Actually I pass it every day and it looks quite interesting amongst the countryside. Also it wasn't done by the council. Its part of an art exhibition by Delamore estate and also to raise awareness of the spreading fungal disease on trees in the south west.

I like it - as for the glove tree that has more to do with homebrew Zider than art IMHO

They make phone masts look like trees to blend in, people winge about wind turbines etc and they paint a chuffing tree bright pink???

What a load of bollocks disbelief Art My arse - If my lad and him mates had gone and done it then they would be called vandals.

Is she wants to paint stuff then she can come and do my hallway.....summat usefull.

Theresa Green (Trees are green) didn't have anything to do with painting the tree pink.

It was painted by a 35 year old gadgie called Henry Bruce - didn't he watch spiders?

Read the post carefully I never said it was council money I said it was passed by the council if I had asked to paint a tree in my garden I'm sure THEY WOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN ME PERMISSIONsmile
