I see there are "no overtaking" signs on 7 mile straight near Stockland Hill Transmitter.  What brain-dead moron thought of that sh1t and what can we do about it?  This is one place where total frustration will result from waiting behind slow vehicles and anyone disobeying the signs will get reported if they make a perfectly safe pass.furiousfuriousfurious

Does the road have double white lines?  Is it red triangle "you must not" signage?

Red triangle.  Don't know anyone from down your way, Mr Longman but I like the look of your green lanes.

You'd wear it out, there are loads of them for miles.  A shotgun and plenty of ammo would be more like it.  The annoying thing for me is this shortcut gets me from Colyton to Taunton in about half an hour on a good day.wink

Its due to the poor state of the edges of the roads, cheap to put some signs up than repair the road. i reckon most folk will not take any notice anyway, who is going to police that ? never seen police on this road ever.

Hey, ease up on us Mr Viking.  OK, most of us ride wearing carpet slippers and smoking pipes but this is my favourite road for testing road bike top speed because it's low traffic volume and police enforcement free.  We're not so bad really, honest.
