Had a look at the bike show last year. Very nice and finaly comes fully road legal but its £8K !!!!

Fowlers advert in this months TBM shows they're selling brand new 2011 model WR450F's for £4,999, that's £2,500 off RRP.

Maybe a new model coming for 2013? reverse head like the YZ?

A lot of cash in the scheme of things, but not a bad deal compared to thenew price. Can't find nowt on their website tho (not that I can afford it lol!).

do yamaha think the wr450 that much of a improvment over other makes that they think people will pay that much ? i think not

looks like a prime opportunity to incorporate the 2010 YZ450F engine design has been passed up...

I wonder why...

Running issues, high maintenance requirement?

Maybe they just want to squeeze a little more profit out of their existing tooling for the old style engine.
Seems like here they just strapped on FI, shoe horned it into and old 250 frame and called it good.
