Just helped a guy who had travelled down from Guildford and broken down in Smithaleigh garage, alternator wire had broken and all power gone, fixed the wire and jump started it the V12 sounded so sweet even after nearly sixty years

I did my Army apprenticeship working on those engines, beautiful to listen to. They're fitted in CVRT light reconnisance tracked vehicles that could move at 70 mph!

Nice car. Prefer the earlier 3.8 though.
I had a nice living working on them when I lived in the U.S. many years ago.
Good to know there are people out there who will fix things rather than saying "We'll get a tow truck mate". Nice one Russell

I was a cvrt driver/gunner, they also do the same speed in reverse. 7 gears forward 7 back lol ;)
