Yes. MY '92 KLX 250 had the KX250 clutch plates fitted - common mod to double the clutch life.
As the plates wore they went back to normal spec (for the KLX) and started to judder, so I bough the missing actuator spacer (a washer) and judder spring and it was fine again.

i posted this to gain some info as i installed a aftermarket clutch kit and wasnt sure if i needed the judder springs, on a stock clutch the bottom friction plate is smaller so the judder springs sit inside, this makes the gear changes smoother blah blah blah,,

i was under the impression with aftermarket kits u removed these springs, turns out yes u can if the kit consists of all equall sized and shapped plates,

BUT after stripping the clutch tonight i found out in fact i had a smaller friction plate in the middle of all the other plates (completly out of its place, and this caused wat i was going to be getting at witch was a very loud and not smoooth gear changing or pulling away clutch)

i refitted the judder springs and the small plate to where they are supposed to go and now its fine and quite (for a ktm anyway)

not sure it was needed to explain all this, but its usefull information that might come in handy one day :D

Mine was like a metal washer/plate thing that went around the outter edge of one smaller clutch plate. This plate was bent slightly outwards on the inner face so acted as a perriferal spring to hold tension in the clutch plates and some how stops the clutch pack from grabbing as you release the clutch.

See part 92202A & B

they fit snug on the outside of the inner hub, my ones are like a flat thin hoop ring sort of thing, somethin like pat butcher would wear on her ears, the other was a little thicker same size around but it was as if someone had punched up thru the middle edge and bent it all upwards, like a gym hoola hoop but cut in half on the edge, and then cut in half again...

best way to describe mine lol

Think the WRs have them as well. I remember Ben removing them from his 250f once.

Yea I removed these to help reduce the clutch drag (read online somewhere) and it didn't really help and make the clutch very aggressive and snatchy.
