Classic twinshock or not?

I used to own one of these years ago and fancy having a bidsmile but was wondering if it would it be able to compete in the twinshock series? as i know some monoshocks are allowed and if so would it hold its own? or is it not the done thing and would it be frowned upon? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-IT-490-1984-/200835058556?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item2ec2b3cb7c

At 84 there would be a linkage on the rear suspension (can't get the link up to see). This would put you in the evo class, not twin shock. Most evo meetings run with the later bikes. Sometimes with twinshocks on rare occasions.
Twin shock is as it says, air cooled and drum braked. Early YZ's and IT's are allowed if they are linkage free on the rear.
Hope this helps.

Yup if its an IT or YZ then it will have to be before 81, ie the 465 (G) or earlier.
