A KTM for the vertically challenged !!

Well I know there's a few members out there who have steered away from KTMs as they are pretty tall and they cant be easily lowered (due to no rear linkage on most models). So today I adapted mine to make it user friendly for the smaller rider

Bike was actually well and truly stuck. I was initially going to pick the left or right track - but they had a muddy adverse camber just beckoning you into the deep ravine. So I dropped into the gulley to walk it through. No way - far to narrow and it jammed the bike. Good job I wasnt by myself as the 3 of us were easily able to simply lift the sub 100Kg right out of the gulley and I was able to walk it down. No damage done. Both Brownie and Darren then opted to walk theirs through as well.

I actually cant remember which lane this was - as so many were washed out today and some major gulleys forming. But it was either 202-085 or -122. Both of which were pretty horrendous.

Here's another look at it

Good ride out though !!!

Long way to go before it gets to Monsoon alley proportions yet.

I recall Biff finding a similar gash in the earth on 202-080 and proving it to be deeper than, but not as wide as, Gasgas footpegs, and a similar chasm has appeared near the lower end of 202-187

There are quite a number of lanes which have similarly changed their nature from innocuous to interesting recently.

Focusses the mind though when it comes to the dynamics of crossing from one side of the lane to the other if it goes on for any distance.

And now I can't say I haven't seen a KTM stand up by itself.

Bike looks okay to me Mark, I just think it's Brownie standing next to it that dwarfs it
