Enduro bike lift strap

For an extra £1 and free postage, get the Kriega/Lyndon Poskitt ones, plus also knowing that you're supporting his Dakar Rally effortwink

I want a lift strap for my ktm, to make it easier to drag my bike out of any situations I may find my self in. Any idea where you get these? Or can you make your own. Thanks

Or buy a length of 20mm nylon webbing from profabrics, melt a hole in either end with a soldering iron and bolt it on. I've made a set for every bike I've owned and they have never let me down. I think there is a youtube clip of of someone making them.

Cheers
Dan

I've used Tuggers in the past, come with fittings for all sorts of bikes and you can get your own text embossed on them. Search online for them, but be careful as some of the results can be, erm, not what you're expecting!

These!  There's a UK site too which is where I bought mine from, but I'm at work and can't search right now.

Can't beat a pair of proper grab handles at the rear but agree a pull strap at the front is useful wink

 +1

A length of 1" (minimum) tie-down webbing or similar.

Cut to double the length required to go over the seat between the seat bolts, plus a couple of inches for slack.

Fold over and 'seal' the loose ends with a flame/soldering iron to stop them fraying, then make hole with soldering iron through both sides (double-thickness) big enough for seat bolts to pass through.

Bolt on with large washers to spread the load.

Job done - 10 minutes, cost zero (effectively).

Did the job nicely on current and previous bikes.
