WR 250 F starter motor wanted.

Someone in our South Wales group is after a Yam WR 250 F starter motor,can any one help or possibly advise if another will fit.

The old unit has been looked at,but alas to no avail. 

The bike is a Sorpa T ride,with wr engine. 

You never know your luck !?

Sorry to say but I spent nearly 8 months trying to find one. Fowlers want £320.

With the help of a local friend I got one from boats.net in the states for £260 all in.

Motorsports electrics have started to produce uprated ones for the 450 due to them being a weak part. £138 all in to your door LINK Unsure if the 250 ones are the same

Hmm, it doesnt sound too promising then.
