I've been trawling the archive here and some of his posts have given me a good chortle. I'm quite enjoying this forum. Hope it's OK to say that!

 

He was drinking from a bottle tuesday night wink

 

I thought the meet at the Dolphin was next Tuesday, or is there a 'session' every week?  Was hoping to meet some of you there next week.

 Don't you ever sleep? I thought I was the only one on here at 5 in the morning, (on a break at work).

JT's wit has been sorely missed 'tis true

The Eastern social meeting is held on the first tuesday  of the month, whereas the Dolphin hosts the Devon meeting on the second tuesday, see you there.

Mornin' Pete. My hours tend to be flexible due to some health issues, but no mind.
Ah, I understand re the meets now. Looking forward to Tuesday. Where will I find you guys? Just head for the noise? Not been to the Dolphin before.

There is a function room upstairs where the meetings are held. Up the stairs and turn right. The landlord lets us use it for free which is very kind of him. People congregate in the bar downstairs to get a drink from seven thirty or so and drift upstairs for the meeting which starts at eight(ish), although if you want to eat beforehand as some do it is wise to get there about six thirty.

And the only reason I came back was to clarify the fact I DID NOT badger on Dougs Birthday run biggrin despite what the photographs may suggest......wink
