Had a early finish today so thought I would have a look at Devils steps before leading a run on Saturday as I saw how Brownie had struggled last week and haven't ridden it for a few monthssmile It certainly looks more interesting than usualbiggrinbiggrin

Just a bit of friendly advice, stay to the right of the gully, it's now just to deep to get through now and you'll stand a good chance of bent levers, have fun biggrinbiggrin

i don't normally struggle on the steps, i have even cleaned it once,(how many can say that???) its all about momentum, if you have to stop then u are knackered, but it is a lot different now, mind you i did have a brand new co2 on the rear and was all over the place on the road let alone the lanes, that my excuse amd im sticking to it.hmm

I know exactly what mean, I put a brand new CO2 on the rear and feared for my life on many occasions (on Tarmac) they are truly scary when new and as you say, that's before you even get on a lane wink.

I nearly threw my worn maxxis away but did a run on it recently and it's still working really well!

It's got a few mm of tread on it, not bald (maybe 5mm)

A used maxxis is a bit like an MT43 but with mud mannerswink
