I kept my old Gaerne boots as spares "just in case" but gave three of the straps and a fixing buckle to a mate whose need was greater than mine.

I realised after 3 days riding at the weekend that it would have been very nice to have a dry pair of boots to put on at the start of Day 3 - even though they would leak later on. Its not nice putting on cold wet boots in the morning!

The missing parts are indicated by green arrows on the pic below and a complete boot is shown beside.

If anyone has a pair of Gaernes with these fixings that they are about to dump, any chance I could scrounge the bits I need please?

If all else fails just use duct tape, it's only for very occasional use after all.

I'd use black tape wink

I believe that I may have what you are looking for Brian, as when my gaerne boots died I kept all the straps. Trouble is since loosing the garage, I am not sure where they are. I will give you a ring when I find them, but you may have to keep prodding me.
