RE: Bying a bike

greenlane have some nice bikes in there, but i have heard not so good reports.
the bike you buy will depent on you(i.e your budget, rideing experiance, size and weight.)
if you plan on doing mx tracks aim for a more mx derived bike(crf250/450, wr250/450, and the orange ones aswell)
also whether you want 4 or 2 stroke.
i wont go into the pros and cons of each type as its been covered in other posts(just use the search to find them).
hope this helps
cheers
dave

Greenlane are fine.  never had a problem with them.   Cheaper to buy a bike privately if going for secondhand though.

Mixed reviews - I can only speak as i find and my 1st bike (a TTR) came from them many years back, it served me well with no problems - I used it for 2 years and when I sold it I got my money back.

I didn't pay what they had on the ticket though wink like Simmo says cheaper private and pleanty about - you pays your money and.............smile

Thanks for the help

I know pay a premium for a shop bike, but my theory is they service and check the bike for you hopefully

less problems.  That why i was asking about the shop as there are a lot of dodgy dealers.  Anyway if any one knows of

any bikes for sale (250 ish) Let me know

cheers mark
