Desperately seeking .... Somewhere in Torquay or Newton area to ride a trials bike. Or do you know anywhere that people ride that I may be able join in with. Any advice gratefully received.
Join your nearest trials club and go along to some trials. West of england mcc must hold a lot of trials near you, Trials riders are a friendly bunch and your sure to meet up with people from your area. Don't be put off by the competitions they cater for all levels of riders from beginer to expert.
May have to do that, but was hoping to get a bit of practice time in first. The onlyplace I know is North Devon which is around and hour and a half each way.
Join the West of England motor club.
They hold at least a couple of easy trials every year.
They are always looking for people to volunteer to help out with events: a perfect opportunity to get some free practice time in.
I spent today marking out the course for the Moor to Sea Ldt tomorrow. A great excuse to ride several of the sections for fun.
Come along and spectate tomorrow.
Starting at 8am 150 riders will be setting off in pairs every minute from SX780713 where there wil be a map of the course laid out so you can decide where to go to watch.
Quite a few people spectate at several places by cutting across the course to get ahead of the competitors.
