Correct Words (lane closure)

We all need help when things go legal and our letters ,emails will help  stop our great lanes from closures

If you do not use the correect words no matter how small they may be,  the letter or email you send may NOT  have any "bearing on the matter ) if you do NOT use certain words

If one was to  give there opinion why a lane should be closed   what wording should we inclose ?

Should we have a template to help?

I am sure any guidence would be good rather than banging out a load of crap in a letter to the Authorites  why we do not want a lane closed  and although there was good intent it will be discarded i am sure?

Does this post need to be moved to a members only area?

If you use a template it is recognised as such and tend to be treated like petitions, individual tailored responses are always more affective

 Sad but true.

1,000 letters with the same text would be lumped together and treated as one letter.

If you are writing an objection you should include the words 'I object'

Any references to not being happy about, or offended by, or opinions about are not relevant.

Sarcasm is wasted.

Reasons should be kept brief, and must be included.

EG

Dear Sir

I see that ..... is proposed.

I object because ......(procedure was not followed/proposal is unlawful/it goes against policy/etc/etc)

I want to be informed in writing about what happens next

Yours sincerely

A N Other
