Well another nice sunny day so Kaz and I decided to go out on the bike and get some lunch,ended up in the Otter Inn at Weston near Honiton
We sat down at a table outside next to an elderly couple, the old boy had an electric mobility scooter thingy and they bothspoke with broad ****ney accents, although they have lived in Honiton for several years and soon got chatting about bikes
Turns out he drives the scooter and his wife walks alongside until she gets tired and then she sits on his lap and they drive home.Anyway its transpires that they have just been pulled by the police twice for two up on a scooter.The first time a snotty young copper gave them a warning, the second time they were pulled, the copper gets out his car comes over and asks if what they were doing was legal, buggered if I know she replies but we've just come down the A303 and are looking for the M5.The copper pissed himself laughing got back in his car and drove off
Just proves some coppers do have a sense of humour, and old biking habits never die.Watch out they may appear on a lane near you soon!!!!!!
