Wouldn't mind that job though, trial bike duty looks fun.

He is right. Noise is annoying.  There a great many seemingly deaf, or terminally selfish, idiots who take baffles out thinking it produces more power because it sounds louder and have no regard for the sensibilities of others who are annoyed by the excessive noise produced.  These fools are driving nails into the coffin of trail riding. Noise is the No1 complaint.

Looked like a motox or enduro competition machine that they described as a trials bike.

At least they didn't describe it as a trail bike.

The law appears an ass when the commentary states that the next time he does this he may have the bike taken away from him. So he gets to do it again, thats all right then..... I am sure that in the Peak District they would have wanted to string him up from the nearest TRO sign.

If i am not correct if you did that with a car it would be impounded immediately ?

Can't belive he got a 'ticket' and told next time he may lose his bike!!!, So if I don't bother taxing, insuring or even registering my bike and ride up up the road with no lid - the worse I'll get is a ticket.....And even then if I have no fixed abode what use is the ticket as I'm 'un traceable......

Wearing a lid would reduce the risk of a tug so am I wasting my money? - just ride with no tax, insurance and MOT and only sort it if and when I get pulled the 1st time hmm Even better, I nick a bike and save to purchase cost of that as well - cheap way of enjoying my hobby......

No justice, no deterent, and no incentive to 'do it right' disbelief

Nice bike he had though and I thought it sounded great wink

Not defending the idiot on the ktm but it was Interesting to see the police riding along the pavement and not slowing down for the people crossing or the horse and I bet they aren't riding a legal route on the last bit or are they allowed to do it
