There are no recent updates on this topic. It would be interesting to hear how the owner has got on with the Ultrapassar.

I've been very pleased with the ajp ultra passer 240. Brilliant on rocks roots and muddy climbs. Feels very light and narrow when weaving through twisty sections.

The suspension is not bad,mind you it didn't like the moto cross track at Cotton farm. On main roads it's very slow, only 5 gears i went up 1 tooth on the front sprocket and down 3 on the rear.(ktm sprocket fits on the rear and xr on the front). Mind you my previous bike the yam wr250r would reach nearly 90 on standard gearing.

At 5'10'' i found the short wheel base and high foot rest a bit tight so raised the handle bars by 25mm apprx.Now the riding position is spot on.

Plenty of low down grunt but no top end. It is a very good trail bike not a enduro bike.

Just spent four days riding a Honda crf230 in Romania, a reel eye opener for me, top bike, go any where you point it, and it as six gears! and a E start, the bike made the trip as we where in the sticks and did not have to worry about fuel as they will run all day on a tank, just one ace little bike. but it was nice getting home and taking out my 300!

He didn't say it survived Nige, only that he rode it for 4 days. There maybe a significant difference!!!

and not a badger in sight! due to being able to get a good dab down, I was able to ride it quicker through the endure sections then if I was on my 3002t! and on the climbs it was a mountain goat, any way if I could turn the clock back two years it would be my bike of choice, would of saved my self a fortune! god I must be getting old! our guide for the trip races one, and gets good results, so that says it all really, so putting ego's to one side I think we are going to see a lot more of this kind of machine on our lanes and at the races, the wacky races comes to mind!
