Didn't think I would like it......

Saw one of these yesterday, and really didn't want to like it......but slung my leg over it and it just felt 'Right'. Would have to change the horrible pipes and bin a few of the plastic bits - but I  liked it a bit to much no

Yep, bit of a guilty pleasure

Did you get to hear it JT? just wondered if it had a half decent sound to it?

Go on Pearcy, have a go it's even built for the vertically challenged.  More to the point do you want to go out for a ride towards the end of the month

No - but recon it would sound pants - though its the look of the pipes that would make me change them, to 'modern' for the style of the bike. Maybe just taking off the silver bits would do it......

Anyway other than that it was lovely and felt very light and flickable, like a HD sporty that had been on a diet (and that had working brakes biggrin). It had a really nice riding postion and was not some big fat lardy thing like other cruisers, reminded me of modern day XS650 chop - kinda thing that would be fab to plod down the A39 from Bideford to Padstow on a nice summers day on smile

£7K new - so will be watching with interest what the 2nd hand prices are like in a year or 2 wink

They do an R version for a few quid more that has fancy shocks.....

Hi JT having sold the Fatty to Martin (Honiton) I am missing it. I really like the look of the XV and a very good price.

Dear God, looks like they have strapped a bloody cannon on the side of it!

Put some slash cuts on and get rid of the indicators and it might change it a bit?

@ Tim, back in London again Tuesday, will have to see if I am back or not before I can say yes to a ride

Hope all is good with everyone
