Horses, sheep, cows and dolphins - oh my!

Not so much a run report but had an excellent 5 hours ride today up onto Widecombe with Adamski. Lanes were in excellent condition and the rocky stuff was sooo slippery, but we managed it all unscathed (Simms, lenda, tallyHo, suicide to name a few that crossed our path). Fair share of horses out today - and all riders greatful and courteous. Plenty of sheep around and a few cows crossing the trail too.

When I got home I decided I still had enough energy to take my boy kayaking - so off we went from Goodrington for a quick hour or so. Just before the inlet to Broadsands bay we were passed pretty close by 3 dolphins. Was a wonderful site and we paddled hard to track them across Broadsands until they dived down and got behind us almost undetected. As they headed out to deeper sea they leapt well out of the water as the played together.

What an excellent day. I have to say I'm a bit knackered now though

Cool.

I too have been out today, dodging showers, horses, sheep, cows, pheasants, squirrels and rabbits.

Lanes are in excellent condition with plenty of gullies full of leaves to make it interesting.
