Help with catering at Smeatharpe 30th March 2014

Hi all, this subject has been discussed at some recent monthly meetings but so far no one has volunteered, perhaps you can help.

In previous years our catering (barbeque, teas/coffees and cold drinks) has been brilliantly run by Mark and his family with all profits going back into our fighting fund.

Before we try and book an outside caterer ( zero profits going into FF) is there anyone who is willing to take on this task.

If you would like more details please pm me

Thanks for reading and hoping that you can help us out on the 30th March at Smeatharpe , Jacki

The silence is deafening.

Any help, large or small would be appreciated.

Ideas please.

A number of outside catering vans are happy to pay for their pitch, the going rate is 100-150 per day at a mx meeting.

The question needs to be asked whether it is actually worth doing it yourself sometimes especially when you consider food and hygiene rules, insurances that are required for selling food etc etc.

Thanks Nick, if you could enquire if they are free on 30th March I would appreciate it.

 Good points.

Looks like we might be going down that route, I'll have a phone around.
