Those were the days, privateers could compete at the top level and owners of rough land, sand or gravel pits closed their ears and eyes to unofficial local MX Practice sessions biggrin

Great day's,

i seem to remember going to a scramble day's out on the Honiton to Dunkeswell road near to where you turn left for Dunkeswell, track was on the right.

even Broadhembury had a scramble club.

Any one remember Ron Edward's or his dad's place at Ashill..

Great to see all the old car's/van's as well..

It was called Windgate Hill Scramble and we used to go there in my Mini which I bought for £15 in 1971.  Ron Edwards' place in Ashill used to fascinate me.  Full of boxes of bits for bikes which were old even then.  Alright alright.  Nostalgia session over.........................for nowbiggrin
