I have just heard from a mate who was stopped today on his bike and  the guy mentioned that his motor crosser was stolen from Exeter the other night, apparently the thieves had ripped his garage door off to get the bike.

Also mentioned in this conversation was that a stolen off roader wth lights etc had been dumped up near Haldon racecourse  & that it looked like it been ther a few weeks.

If you know of anybody looking for there pride & joy please mention that one has been seen in that area, unfortunately I have no more info than that. But these scum will go to any resort to get what they want so be cautious.

Im trying to work out a deal with a local security firm to offer good profesional alarm systems cheap to any member from the Trf For there home/garage or workshop. Any interest let me know and I will forward on details if I'm successful.

Didnt say what make the one dumped at haldon was by any chance..?

Unfortunately not, that was the only info that was said. If I can get someone to give me a lift up there I was going to take a look to see where and what bike it is.

It might be worth a trip up there Mogwai in case it's your bike

Mark do you have a better indercation of where the bike is dumped in Haldon?

I live prity close and will be going out past the race course on my way to Plymouth for work tomorrow so if you can let me know roughly where it was dumped I'll take a look at it and post a pick if I find it? That said if it's close to the gypsy camp It will most likely be gone.

This is getting rather worrying at the amount of bikes going missing in Exeter & surrounding areas, as usual either police aren't bothered or just waiting for some poor person to catch them in the act and either beat them senseless or get beaten. This is really starting to make me boil.

Sorry all I was told was a bike had been dumped near the racecourse
