In case anyone is deliberating as to which helmet to buy next, here is a word of warning.
After having a couple of the light weight Airoh helmets over the last few years I thought I would go for something different. Last year I purchased a Suomy Mr Jump lid (I know, i know, it is a little bit orange and I look like a power boat driver before any of you start). After a recent altercation with a tree I have managed to split the peak. No problem, order a new one. £59.00 plus p&p! FOR A PEAK!
Helmet is light and comfortable and top quality bit of kit but that really is taking the piss. Had I known, it would have been enough to stop me choosing this helmet. Peak now held together with masking tape.
So rant over and hopefully useful warning for any would be Suomy helmet purchasers.
