Supposedly in the Beacon Heath area but it mentions a problem with off-road bikes in Exhibition Fields, Mincinglake Valley park and fields above King Arthur's Road and Pendragon Road.
Two Section 59 have been warnings have been issued.

Yes the fields up the top of king Arthur's rd has always had off road bikes racing around there since since 1982 ish, known as Gouldy's field but there seems to be more on the roads racing around at break neck speeds that seem to be the problem
A warning followed by temporary seizure of the bike seems like a pretty feeble deterrent.
The recovery and collection costs are presumably the same as those you need to pay for the privilege of having your bike stolen-recovered
You have to wonder how long antisocial behavior has to go on before the police show up to do something about it, seems like the chances of getting caught twice in 12 months are too low to put kids off acting like fools on their bikes. No wonder its such a common sight in so many areas.
I might be out of touch with the reality of the situation, but i had the impression that it was mostly (if not exclusively) teenagers either on L plates, or totally unlicensed and on non road legal bikes. It seems like they should be able to justifiably hit them with a far more effective deterrent than a warning? I have often wondered how many teens with L plates are on unrestricted 2t 125 dirt bikes.
What i see in the public domain is becoming the norm, here are some of my thoughts:
1. Lack of common sense, the things your parents or elders should have taught you. 2. Consideration for others is an after thought. 3. The difference between right and wrong. 4. Manners, when was the last time you saw a door held open for a infirm person. 5. Complete selfishness, not thinking of others needs. 6. Respect for other people's property, in the majority you earned it the hard way why should you loose it. 7. Punishment does not fit the crime and the victim almost always is in the end worse off.
So should you need to do a wheelie in the high street when you could do it somewhere else, some of the points above might apply.
