strimmer service/repair recommendations exeter or cully.


Strimmer repairer or more of a service type thing,  needs a new pull cord and prob a new plug, any recommendations in exeter or cullompton, needs to be a pdq turn around suggestions welcome, its a well used maculloch type affair.

MNR mowers at Honiton on the heath field est, might have to wait 2 weeks though 

Radmore and tucker in Exeter, not sure on waiting time 

Can't you service it yourself as there isn't much to do on a 2 stroke, plug is easy enough, pull cord isn't that bad, take out air filter and wash if needed, check strim head and replace cord, grease up shaft (thats my favourite bit) wink

Should be good to go! 

all the new sthill + husky's come with computers now so you would need a diagnostics from one of the above if its not running right cry

Thanks all, will make call in the morning, service myself, yep take your point about the diy but time is of the essence and to drop and go is what I need atm
