Alloy frame WRF250 CDI location

Can someone put up a photo of the CDI and its mounting, as in the airbox.

Mine has always rested, previous owner having left it that way, which partially cuts off the air intake.

Just want to fix properly.

Moved on a bit.

Does the cdi fit in a section that is part of the rear mudguard on the N/S?

My WRF has always been fitted with MX rear mudguard, but looking at parts fiche there appears to be a "box" bit on the LHS that is roughly CDI shaped.

Piccie is for the new fangly dangly late type, not for older type?
I think Ive worked it out, need to adapt MX bit and make box.
Suspect CDI has been cutting off air flow in airbox.
Wed night for the boys, (and Susie, if she is up for it / excuse the pun?) weather permitting?

I can pick it up and get it to Rik if no other volunteers wink

PS to Roger - have you a white WR front mudguard left please? Sadly Bouncing Bob is giving up trail riding and is tidying up his TTR for sale. Needs a front mudguard but has to be white....

Off Topic I know - but that's sad news cry many a happy adventure with Bob over the years - he is a legend.....biggrin

Reckon there is any chance we could get him out on one last ride as an event to 'mark' the occasion? (would need to be before he tidied his bike though wink)

I fact here is another Idea - and I will start the ball rolling.

I pledge £10 towards a new set of plastics for Bobs bike on the condition that 'we' can have his old ones and put them on the top table at meetings as a reminder of what the TRF is all about - as for me Bob 'is it'. Always smiling, never has a bad word to say about anyone, knows he ain't no 'David knight' and don't care, doesn't need the latest gear or bike, he just wants to get out and have a good time - he's an inspiration wink

If everyone that Bob made smile on a run over the years gave a quid or two we would soon have his old TTR looking tip top smile

Maybe a mod can move 'Bob' to a new thread?

Would love to Jon but I only seem to have rights to move a whole thread and can't move individual posts cry

Bob was at the Motley Crew meet tonight and, sadly, the insurance for his TTR runs out tomorrow so the chances of getting him out on a farewell trail ride are minimal cry

He is fixed up with a freebie white mudguard now courtesy of Hamster - thanks Roger!

Thank you Rog, very much appreciated, finally sorted that "Welsh misfire", I hope!
I owe you a pint or a favor, whichever.
