Kwakazaki ZZR1100?

Anyone had one?  Good bits / bad bits?  What would you pay for a 1995, full luggage, 58K?

Thanks for any info.

Ian

Hi sold mine recently with 65k same age for 850. But the paint was a bit diy.
They are a fantastic bike but on the right roads. I used to pop over to friends and found the bars caused bad wrist ache combined with firm suspension made it really uncomfortable on smaller roads. But on fast sweepers I forgave it everything.
Did I mention the power...........

Just another. Had a cbr1000f before. Much prefered the z.....

To answer your actual question 750 if it's a minger  up to about 1300 or so plus whatever the luggage is worth to you. Looking around at 1500 bikes they look much better condition than mine. Oh and watch for leaking fuel bits. Tank, pipes and tap all leaked at some point.

I got him down to £1K which was hard work as he is Scottish (that is where we started and finished!).  He'd pxed it for a car. I've been to see the bike on the way back from a recovery, seems sound, good tyres, pads, no problems lock to lock, clean, no obvious leaks.  Didn't think to see whether it had been derestricted with flat carb tops. It has a new fairing at some point in the last 19 years, no logos or badges and it has gold anodised fairing bolts. Saves weight, faster! HPI clear.

Been standing for a couple of months as the guy has been off work sick.  He'd just finished his lunchbreak and was v busy so I'm going to check it out properly and collect if OK next week.  Luggage is a bit pish, especially egg cup topbox.

TPFT = £69/year - life begins at 43!

Got it yesterday, spent the morning sorting out some 'standing for 3 months' niggles and then took it for a blast around the Highlands.

Aye, quite quick.  That induction sound is just slightly addictive!

Failed its MoT today so I am in the progress of removing the forks to get the seals replaced, everything will be fine as a bird shat on my head (lucky apparently) whilst I was getting the stand right.

Oh dear - two bad omens there Ian. hmm

No 1 = MoT time for my TTR today - if you wish me luck for mine then I wish you luck for your re-test.

A bird shat on my head on my on my first visit to St Ives in 1968.

On my T100 all the way from Sheffield with my GF on pillion. Arrived at St Ives harbour, put bike on the stand, just removed my crash hat and WALLOP.

I was well and truly plastered by a low flying herring gull.

No 2 = I married the GF in 1970.

My GS had its MOT yesterday and passed.

My car has its MOT today!

Plenty of gulls here so I think I'll stand around in the garden all morning hoping for a 'bit of luck' (car will need it)

Cheers,

John

My TTR passed with no advisories and is now legal for another twelve months.

No bird crap on me today either.  biggrin

I hope your ZZR1100 fares well, Ian.
