Does anyone here know anyone who rides in these events Or any rallies in general. Seems like a cracking idea once your experienced enough. I had no idea such things existed on a more local level....

Entered one earlier this year, the Brechfa rally which is run by Dyfed dirt bike club. It was a fab days riding in Brechfa forest and included the usual enduro type terrain as well as forest tracks etc. From memory it was four 25 mile circuits each timed with a timed section.

The top boys were very fast but the grading structure was so that you never felt like you were holding anyone up.

Entered on the drz400, previously considered entering on the 950 but once completed I would NOT enter on the 950 would've been knackered beyond belief (me that is!).

All in all great event very well run.
