Chris, the pictures can be seen, under the heading of Latest Machines from the shed, here:-  http://www.norton.uk.com/hol.htm

This is what is said about the bikes:-

"I had already built a 350 OHC machine for number 2 daughter, Camilla, called 'Cam-Cam'; so now was the time to build another for my youngest, Tom who is 13 and has been riding bikes since he was 5 and is now showing interest in the workshop. I have called this one 'Tom-Tom'! He is helping me build it.

It has a works Daytona 1950 engine and gearbox, disc brakes and lots of aluminium and titanium parts. Plan is for 40BHP and 250lbs weight; so should be good for about 120mph!

The Silver Manx features many aluminium parts and a radical exhaust system."

How about a nice Bullet with a green lane twist. this took me on the run to work for 5 years and was a good player in the mud but a bitch to clean afterwards. would like to get me hands on a Norton motor to do this with

With a disc brake and girder forks, it's an odd mixture of old and new.  They both look good, tho.  On looking closer, I saw the Manx type valve springs so that's what the engine is, as described above.  The sidecar appears to be on a caravan.  What will they think of next?biggrin

Yes Albert them Pegs was non folding I made a 2nd set of folding one's after a badger that ripped one right off the frame. it was only ever used for the od lane and the run to work I miss that bike will do one to replace it some time. but for now i have the old 1984 xr for fun now and the 2005 TTr for the hard work.
