192-168 re works

In passing the Northern end of 192-168 today I noticed a load of chippings.

I didn't venture down to see how far the works had gone, but Mrs Cubber drove by slowly and I took some pictures.

Seems as if it may be some time before the lane will return to its former rut.

looks like the pile has spread out somewhat ? Needs to be investigated. Excuse for a rideout.

Just a convenient way to 'off load' some road planings if nearby resurfacing is in operation

They need to solve the surface water drainage problem before they are to seriously think about mending UCR's

Thats why i'm not bothered about seeing this kind of work completed, its all too much of the same

'Fly tipping' wacky style biggrinbiggrin

The way the surface is shaped most of the surface water would run into the field at present as there is a large ish hump in the entrance to the UCR' that'll change when the farmer realises wink

Went down though there on Sunday and chippings don't go much past entrance, but overgrown up past handlebars .
