JD for me, if you cant buy private. I had a couple of new KTMs from them when racing.
Theyve been there for years, and I dont think Ive ever heard a bad word - I cant think of anyone else who can say that, apart from Bike works in Exeter, but they dont do the same sort of retail.
Private could save you a shed load, but if you arent too sure what you are looking at, then take a friend who does know!

I tried Tracey but she only had new stock, as did AMS and the KTM Centre.
Called in yesterday to have a look at the bike, bit pricey but understandable as they are hard to find, ended up buying one with 1000 miles a bit further afield instead!
Won't be long, and the "Chard start" runs will be on again.

+1 for JD's
Always been really helpful with advice info spares etc. and give TRF discount - I haven't bought a bike from them but they still give me great service.
PGH are ok, nothing bad to say at all - I have been a customer of theirs but they just don't seem to 'try' they never seem to go the extra to help - they are 5 miles from me but I travel the 25 miles to JD when I need bits.
I went in PGH to look for new road bike boots a week ago and saw the shiny 690 - very nice that is !

PGH didn't want to do a deal on the 2014 690, or the new 690 they had in stock.

JD offered a deal, I took it, pick it up next week. smile
