OK - so who can name the models of the three Triumphs in the photos below that I spied when picking up some TTR parts wink

2 Tiger Cubs and possibly a 150 Triumph Terrier, if not Terrier then early Tiger Cub.

Well done! Terrier at the back, standard Cub in the middle but what about the one in the foreground? Model needed biggrin

That looks suspiciously like a T20SL Scrambler which has lights - about 1961

Engine Numbers T20SL 64592 (April 1960) to T20SL 81889 (July 1961)

It has the sporty 'R' type camshaft.

Ruby Red & Silver Sheen - also known as Bright Amaranth Red in USA

It was a direct development of the American market scrambler version of the T20S with lights added - hence T20SL.

There were two versions - Road with downswept pipe and silencer and Scrambler with upswept pipe and either silencer or extension pipe.

Very nice and very desirable.

Martyn

Very close Martyn! Just need the actual model name. As a clue it is the "trail" version rather than scrambler wink

TBH I didn't know they made one of these - I certainly found it "highly desirable" biggrin

That specimen, therefore, may well be the Mountain Cub, which was offered as 'trail' bikes, mostly to the American market.
It is believed that the bright colours were intended to make machine and rider stand out from the suroundings so that they were less likely to become the targets of hunting parties out shooting game!

The model designation was T20SM and T20M Mountain Cub, 1964 to 1967.

It was developed from the T20SS and T20SC and the specification made the machine suitable for mixed on and off-road use.

However, the tank badge shown on your image is not the "Terrier" type of badge as fitted to the T20M.
The one shown is a smaller version of the garden gate badge that my T100 now has. confuse

Intriguing.

Martyn

PS - it seems to have a unit twin full width hub on the front rather than the skinny Cub wheel.

Correctamundo!!!!

You are right about the tank badge. Should look like this:

Shocks, gaiters and front brake drum look different as well so it may not be what it seems.....
