Sealskin Gloves on sale £15

Just bought a really nice pair of Sealskinz waterproof light weight gloves in the sale from here http://www.sealskinz.com/UK/outlet/lightweight-mortorcycle-glove-red  pretty damn good for £15 if anyone needs any!

No more wet hands and trying to get the fingers back in after a smoke break biggrin

Great spot Mike, thanks.

Mine are ordered and I've copied the link onto the Somerset and national TRF sites. Soon we'll be able to recognise TRF members by the gloves biggrin

Have you read the only review?

Do not do what it says on the tin!
I was caught i a downpour. They were wet through within 10 minutes and remained so all day. Not warm and not waterproof. They went straight back. One positive: They were a comfortable fit on the bars.

Caviat emptor!

One review by a monkey!  I just tested mine under a running tap and then submerged in a sink of water. Not a drop got in does what it says unless the person who wrote the review had the water run down the sleeve into the glove which is what I suspect. I dont have any affilation with Sealskinz but mine work prefectly

I also spotted that review, she said the activity she was doing was golf... I didn't realise motorcycle gloves were used by golfers...

I think you are correct as they are certainly different than the ones I have here. For a start the carbon on the knuckles is different and so is the thumb patch .

The ebay ones, looks like they may be copies. Good luck with the others. At least the wife can use them for gardening (big hands)

I have had NO REPLY - so a bit of doubt remains - could explain their price. hmm

Not to mention the ebay specials don't have the wording "SealSkins" printed down the side and instead have a pull strap tensioner.confuse

If I owned Sealskinz I'd be pretty upset about fakes being sold on fleabay (if they are), especially as they aren't actually water resistant.

Maybe someone who bought the ebay ones should contact Sealskinz?

If it were me I'd see if Sealskins wanted them to check out, if not then I'd be registering a complaint through ebay, and asking for my money back...wink

Mine arrived, run them under the tap, no leaks.

Will try them on bike. Intend to use them for the road sections and use my neoprene ones when I am on trail as I find my hands get cold doing road speeds when the neoprene gets wet.

I have just received a reply from the eBay trader regarding my query.

I can't quite check the veracity of the well worded response but the assertion is that the gloves for sale on their eBay site are genuine Sealskinz products.

Of course they would hmm

The ebay ones turned up today, not exactly the same as the ones direct from sealskinz........

But they are either the best copies I have ever seen or are originals.

Personally I think they are NOT fakes, anyone one else get some????

Whatever they are very nice gloves for the moneysmile
