Wanted Devon trail riding DVD ..........................

Hi all

lots of vids are posted on here by members.

Is there one amongst us capable of converting them to a format recognised by my TV/DVD combi and producing one ?

I am off to the Yer Tiz rally to do a stand for the club and could run my small tv on the stand.

Any takers

Roger

You will have to get Stevo's one biggrinhttp://devongtrf.activeboard.com/t60469557/westnorth-somewhere-in-devon-ride-out-social-meeting/?page=1#comment-60506751

Simplest thing would probably be to get people to send you dropbox links, so you can download their video clips to your PC, then chuck them all on a USB stick.

That list of file types is pretty comprehensive so hopefully will accept all the youtube vids, i think they are normally mp4

I doubt you would want to show it, but i uploaded a short clip to dropbox for Stevo a few weeks ago, maybe you can test it with that, you should be able to directly download it but may need to make an account?: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7o00el3fk2vqvl5/Simms%20climb.mp4?dl=0

Roger,

Have you tried running video files on the TV via the USB connection?  I tried this a couple of years ago and found the playback to be very flakey - lots of stop / start / thinking about it.

You wouldn't want this on the day.

If you've tested USB playback and it works, use a freeby program like YTD (YouTube Video Downloader http://www.ytddownloader.com/) to download the vids you like best onto a USB stick and you're away.
