Still looking for new places for my lad - anyone got details for Whimple ?

Hi, as title I am still on the lookout for places my son can ride (and me !) he's been PCMP junior track, Brixton junior, Geralds Farm, since doing the endurocks father son days at bratton court & escot he really wants something more than the little tracks now but not a full on MX track just yet.

Not sure but Whimple is supposed to be ok for beginners - no real steep hills ? I have taken a little drive up to the end of the lane where the gate is to see if I could get the contact info but no sign there now.

Does anyone have a any better info on the track or the number for the farmer and know when it's open now ? if at all ? There's a big solar farm next to it now.

Or if anyone knows of any other local practice venues suitable for 9 ~ 10 year olds ?

Thanks v much

Wimple is flat with a few very small jumps which can be rolled

Cheddar has a couple of tracks one being just for Autos

Yeah we checked out Cheddar auto track for you last Saturday and your lad would love it. Very well kept - also saw them grading it just before the day started.

Adult track fabulous as well, just revamped and now goes clockwise. Some nice jumps, all of which are rollable should you wish and no steep hills. Well kept/organised & in a fabulous location too.

Cheers Wheely, that sounds very good indeed - I think a trip to Cheddar will be happening soon.

Thanks
