Hi all, never hurts to put up a random request.

Anyone got a turbo trainer (pref a magnetic one) gathering dust in their garage, they are the funny things you sit your push bike bike back wheel in and go nowhere.

I haven't got on - or ever heard of them either.

I Googled it and is this what you're wanting?

They seem to range in price from <£100 to >£3,000

Yep thats the kind of thing, seem to be one of those things people get and use for a bit the let them gather dust (was going enliven a dusty one)

Saw loads at Newnham Park today. They were all being used by the racers for tomorrow's British XC race. We entered the open classes today and flipping ek was hardest thing I've ever done.

Didn't see any turbo trainers for sale tho.

Halfrauds have some good deals on atm so picked one of those up, just been on it and pretty impressed.
boy the have moved on since my last one 20 yr ago (super loud wind resistant one then, uber quiet mag now)
