Off roading in the Pyrenees

Any one done it,?

A few friend,s and i were thinking of Trailering + vanning 5/6 bikes down there,

leave vehicles at a hotel after speaking to them, then going off for a jolly for a week, and then return and come home.

Even better if you have any Gps/maps off road route,s..

Have looked on Wikiloc, but just wondered if ppl have had first hand expeeiance

Plymouth/Santander route we would take..

Your thought,s please..

Mike..

If there's more than 4 riders, this is classed as an organised ride and therefore you'll need group/company insurance. All single tracks are classed as footpaths and to be avoided. The police are also about and will heavily fine you.

I've been there and done it several times with no problems ranging from the Picos to Andorra. From chats with Spanish bikers we have met ,group size depends on which region you are in.

Our overall impression has been one of friendliness and tolerance of bikers from the Spanish at large.

If you are at the next Dolphin meeting we can talk about whatever aspect you want and I have tracklogs.

David
