Friday blues

so went to change oil in bike yesterday, drained oil, all ready but no oil filter, damn.  went to cms today got several, plus other bits, got home put in oil filter, wrong size, f#+.  rang cms one in post.

phone rang, wife in Torquay car won't start, mentioned fuel, so did sos run put in fuel and car started, f#+.

put on new front tyre tonight, mich comp 4, followed arrows yep, check again, yep, struggle, swear, sweat for 30-120 mins, tyre on lovely, check arrows, wrong way round. f#+, f#+, f#+. (kids, wife wondering what's going on) (gonna run with it as can't be arsed to do all again)

though I'd do linkage bearing as been putting off for ages and I'm on a roll, rusted in, get couple of mates around and we sort it eventually, new bearings, put back on, better check torque setting on bolts, swinging away, stripped tread, f#+, another trip to cms in morning.

going to ashcome race Sunday , with my luck will prob end up in a tree somewhere.

I think I still love riding?

anyone beat that?

just had one so thought I would try something different, seemed very good on mud and trails, bit bobbly down road to start but never any real grip problems.

I've used a comp IV for years but after trying Rich's Comp VI at Bratton I've decided to go for one of those next. Seemed to have better grip in the damp woods. Meant to be slightly better for everything apart from perhaps grip on rock.

Both good tyres though.
