Daylight mot.


What exactly is the requirements to get one of these..? Horn and brakelight minimum..? Cheers all.

No lights at all (so if you have a brake-light, you must have all lights).
No speedo required (for any MOT)
Horn is required (even if a battery operated bicycle thingy)
Number plate with a little stick on reflector and tyres that aren't marked up "not for road use".
Rest of vehicle must be roadworthy.

Its not actually a daylight MOT as such. Its a full certificate with an advisory to state "no lights were fitted at the time of testing".

Thanks mark for that explanation, if i had a pound for every time i had to explain there is NO such thing as an Daytime MOT !!!! well you know the rest.

So minimum for roadworthy machine is a numberplate and horn.
