Insurance? Something must be wrong?

Just got my renewal through from Carol Nash for two bikes worth £2500 each (77 trail bike) fully comp with limited mileage but........... for £28!! It's got to cost them more to.process it than that that! Still I'm not complaining!

That does sound too cheap. I guess your a good risk. I thought most insurers had a minimum premium of £75 ish.
Are you sure that's not just their renewal admin fee for the pleasure of taking your money?

Pay it quick and in a few weeks call them to make sure they've got everything right.

To me it seems too low. and i mean unbelievably low. I hope its right and not just the monthly premium!

Out of curiosity what was the price last time around?
if it was considerably more then the chances are there is a mistake somewhere. if it was only £50 last year then maybe not. if it was £200 then clearly there is.

It was nearer £200 last year ...... I called them today, way down in the small print it shows that they had changed my policy to fire and theft only. It was previously fully comp. I suspect this happened when I told them the bikes were off the road, although I didn't tell them to change the policy! Revised quote for 2 bikes fully comp with no excess is £138 still good value in my book! But it pays to read the small print!

Still a good price for Fire and Theft.

Do you need Fully Comp?

The bikes are worth £4-5k together so I think so. Parts are also hard to find.

Bugger, but glad you spotted that.

I'm sure plod wouldn't have accepted it a genuine error!

Tribey, I think he meant "just" fire and theft ie no third party road cover,
