ebay £30 ...

British Army Gore-Tex Bivi / Bivvy Bag Green DPM Grade 1 Military VGC

Works perfectly with room to move and put any kit in as well. I have used mine many times and it keeps you warm and dry without a boil in the bag result

+1 for the military Gore-Tex bivi. I've used mine many times both in shelters and in the open.

As a former Aircrew Combat Survival instructor, I guess you could call that an 'informed' opinion

Cheers

Rab make great bivis if you want small and light

personally i just use a lightweight tarp as its much dryer, even in goretex you get pretty wet if its over your head, and it stops breathing when its soaked on the outside

DD make good tarps

Check out some of the facebook bushcraft forums they often pop up, wouldnt pay more than 20-30, and as started they are fairly bombproof, As already mentioned Lots sleep on not in one and flick a tarp or basha over the top.

They are expensive for everything!.... Get a tarp as well and it makes a reasonable area to sleep plus you can fold the tarp to create a tent if is gets rough.

Me and my lad do a fair bit of bikepacking and wild camping, so spent decent money pn these..

Worth every penny, packs into itself and fits in the palm of your hand. If you want to whip round and have a look anytime, youre welcome Mike.
